BioBricks are compressed wood bricks made from dried sawdust that are specifically designed to create hot and efficient fires in wood stoves. They can be densely packed into the fire box of a stove which creates a hotter, longer burn and are a less-messy alternative to cordwood. One ton of BioBricks is the equivalent to one cord of firewood in terms of BTU’s. In addition to being used as a stand-alone wood stove fuel, BioBricks are also great for starting fires and can improve the performance of under-seasoned cord wood when burned together.

BioBricks are what they sound like, they’re bricks. Being comprised of tightly compacted sawdust, this makes BioBricks ideal for loading up your wood stove. You can easily lay and stack them efficiently for an even burn.

Environmentally Responsible

In addition to having a much slower burn time than traditional firewood, BioBricks are made from dried sawdust. These factors make them a great source for renewable heat.

Long-Lasting

Speaking of a slow burn—on average, BioBricks have a burn time of 12 hours per stove fill. This is because of they’re density, 1lb of BioBricks equals approximately 1.7 lbs of cordwood.

Product Information:

Each BioBrick is 2.0 pounds each and wrapped in packages of 20. Each package is stacked 50 to a pallet with a total product weight of 2000lbs (1.0 ton).
